Julius West MS
At JW, the IEP team was great for grade 6, a little less so for grade 7, and ratcheted down support for grade 8. The IEP coordinators try very hard, but are overloaded with cases. The huge student body (over 1500) really works against the faculty and the students, who want to do well. Depending on how much support your child needs, you will either find it sufficient or woefully underwhelming. Definitely meet with the IEP team in summer before classes begin to become familiar with them and to set expectations. They are willing to work with parents and child, but you have to stay on top of classes/grades.
