Inclusiveness: NO, even though they have had a Learning Center for a long time, their inclusive practice are just not there. The staff needs more development in that area. Communication between LC teachers and Gen Ed teachers is not consistent.
Staffing and resources: As a Title I school, it has the resources and the possibility to reach out for more.
Cooperation: Depending on the teacher and how insistent and assertive the parents are.
Communication: Staff is responsive when contacted but they don’t go out of their way to reach out. They have the capability, the training, just not the culture to do it.
Academic expectations: Some do, some don’t. At this time i is the parent responsibility to make sure their child is meeting expectations, following up and push for more.
