The principal and the teachers here are just trying to get you child to the next school. There is no long term buy in for your kids. They are only here for 3 years. The teachers do not care if your child cannot read, they will lie about test results and say the child is reading at grade level when the child is not. They will try to not have you get an IEP and will never suggest you get you child tested because then MCPS would have to pay for it. They will not teach your child to read, they leave that up to the parents.

There is no regular communication with the parents from the school. Teachers can use apps to let you know what they did in class but will not call you if your child is having difficulties.
